The site was built on Netstudio's new e-commerce platform. Drupal 8, on which it is based, is one reliable basis for even the most demanding projects. At the same time, all Netstudio mechanisms were designed from ground up for the new platform and incorporated years of experience in the construction of online stores. Thus, the site manages to be extremely fast to load and easy to use despite the complexity of its mechanisms.
The ease of ordering was central to the site design. That's why great care has been taken to make the user experience as easy as possible on any device they choose to make their purchases.

Advanced discounts system
In the My market online store you can find all the offers that exist in the My market physical stores, as advertised in leaflets and on television commercials. For this to work we had to develop extra features for Netstudio Promotions, so we can not only support the whole range of promotions, but also synchronize them automatically. So, combined offers, discounts based on quantity, free shipping on bundles and many other types of offers are available at end user, without increasing the workload of the website management team.
Availability and delivery slots based on user location
One of the most important challenges of the project was the adaptation of the functionality of the website to accommodate product availability and delivery options based on user location. Fresh and frozen products are available only within certain cities and depending on the service store, both the availability of the products and the available delivery slots vary. For this reason, multiple stock management mechanisms were developed for each product, locating the service store according to the postal code of the user. Particular attention was also paid to "caching" so that the different content that the user sees depending on his area does not significantly affect the loading speed of the site.
Netstudio's smart search engine and filters could not be missing from such a project. Filters are even faster, even for large volumes of products, while search works with greeklish, misspelled words and synonyms. Voice search helps you find what you're looking for most efficiently, and for the first time we've added the ability to activate voice search via a keyboard shortcut.
